ahh, i see, so we have stabbings and shootings at Caribana--but we don't have them at other events------hmm, what does that tell you? Who do you think the gangbangers are in this city?? you know, i'm not one who goes to the Gay Pride Parade but at least the gangbangers are not out shooting someone.
now of course i'm sure we'll see posts on here as the days go on saying that the shooter was just a victim of societal injustice, i'm sure! yeh, right!!

I don't believe that for a second. I don't believe that people are judged by the color of their skin. Most people try very hard to find good in everyone but when found that many people will spit in your face rather give you the time of day, it's a strong dose of reality and a real eye opener. Every time there's another shooting, and it's done by a young black male it adds another brick in the wall, and how could it not? How can we continue to just shrug these shootings off in the interest in community relations? This is anything but judging someone by their skin color. After all, it's not us "ignorant" people pulling the trigger, is it?

It is very much a cultural thing. You will find the majority of black criminals have roots in or ties to the Jamaican community. It is rare that A Trinidadian or Bahamian gets involved in violent crimes.

And the only people who can be the real solution are the black community. now, before we tar and feather the whole community, lets see the identity of the shooter, and where he comes from. 10-1 he comes from Jamaica and not from one of the other islands.

Actually the Police Officer was only doing his job in protecting the rest of the people watching the parade. He only fired his gun after the idiot had already been firing into the crowd of innocent bystanders. So please do yourself a favour and remember who started shooting first before you begin referring to our boys in blue as the 'shooters'

So what are the cops to do? let him shoot more people or the cop? you really are the problem in society. He was white and so was the lady carnival dancer. The other guy with the graze was taken to St Michael and he was Indian carribean? (Trini). The lady is in life threatening condition. I was 50m from the scene with a Canadian French singer Sidney The Revolution.

1. put visa restrictions on Jamaica
2. sent the next boatload of Tamils back home before stepping foot in Canada
3. Restrict Muslim immigration so we don't look like Europe does in a few years
4. Gave a license to a Bounty Hunter business to round up the remaining war criminals and 38,000 failed refugee claimants.
5. Had a national database for provincial health cards so he could cancel them if they don't show for a deportation hearing.
